It held up well, with no wind. The poles at the bottom are a must, or else it is not sturdy enough. You need more anchors spikes for the connectors at the floor poles. It was only enough for 2 per connector and there were 4 holes. Thinking ahead I ordered more. I did not use the ropes. It felt secure enough. It turned out perfect for my Aunts 80th birthday party!!! First a note on materials: The fabric IS NOT CANVAS but Oxford fabric. This is not meant as a complaint. The two are very comparable, but if you are set on canvas you should be aware of the substitution. Other than that I am very favorably impressed Setup was straightforward and easy for one person. It holds its shape without sagging after several days. Ventilation with the internal vents open is more than adequate. It has stood up to two days of stormy weather admirably; there have been no issues with it standing up to the wind. As the later pictures show it is dry inside. The last photo shows water beaded up on the outside of the tent. The interior is roomy, and I am able to walk around comfortably. There's sufficient space to sleep several people and their gear or to use it in a less common way. It is currently doing service as a blacksmithy. There is still enough ventilation. There is enough room that the forge is in no danger of melting or burning anything. The fact that the floor can be unzipped means I can stay dry and not have to worry about dropping hot metal on fabric. The price is very reasonable for what I received, and Wayfair's customer service has been exemplary. The only complaint I have is that the raincap for the door does not have a big enough hole to fit over the door support. Good tent for the price. All the poles have a “snap together” feature, so no tools are needed. The instructions could’ve been much better, but it only took two people around two hours to erect.
