I cannot believe this is not Teflon! I emailed viking and they told me this is 99 titanium a tiny amount of silicone oxide on the cooking surface. I tried frying egg with a teaspoon of avocado oil, the egg slid smoothly as if Teflon. Then I tried with no oil at all. It did not slide freely but with help of a silicone turner the egg still released flawlessly. (See the 2 photos I attached). Ordered Friday, arrived Monday - VERY fast service. Shower pan was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement. I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick.
