The reason we needed to buy this base was because after 1 year and two weeks the Kelly Clarkson table we bought from Wayfair cracked at the base rendering it useless. Wayfair would not make good on the table as it was 2 weeks over the year warranty but did give us a $50 gift certificate plus 10% of a purchase so we bought this base which makes the table look ten times better then the Clarkson base.
