FYI: previous rug was a shag in the living room was 5 x 7, ended up putting the 5 x7 in the den replacing a 6 x 4, and ordered the 6.7 x 9.6 for the living room because the 5 x 7 looked too small replacing the shag... i believe the shag gave off a larger look.
