Beautiful, shades of gray and charcoal. Has veins of gold... the veins are not overpowering and add a little pop. I was worried the gold wouldn't go well or be too much, yet the gold is subtle and picked up the tone of the coffee table and went well with the orange accents. Purchased in two sizes for two rooms. FYI: previous rug was a shag in the living room was 5 x 7, ended up putting the 5 x7 in the den replacing a 6 x 4, and ordered the 6.7 x 9.6 for the living room because the 5 x 7 looked too small replacing the shag... i believe the shag gave off a larger look. Be sure to vacuum extensively after you lay it down because there’s ALOT of shedding, but I don’t care because it’s so pretty. I was able to vacuum the shedding until it finally vacuumed clean, but I emptied the canister 5 times ( it’s a 9’6” x 13’ rug so that’s not too bad). Beautiful high quality rug. It is less dark and more bluish than the photos suggested. We are ok with that and aware that a hand knotted rug may vary. It still surprised us how blue the rug really is. It is very interesting how the white stripes are not achieved by using white wool knotting, but rather represent "missing" dark wool and the white is the backing of the rug.
