Love this rug for our dining room! The knit is flat which is great so stains won’t as easily get ground in (although this does say stain resistant, I know that doesn’t mean stain proof). I bought this rug for my daughter's dorm room. The idea of recycling denim appealed to me and this rug does not disappoint. My daughter said other students would come over for the sole purpose of looking at the rug. It is extremely heavy and has a pretty good backing, as well, so we didn't bother with a rug pad. The only caveat is that some of the stitching has started to unravel, making some of the pockets loose and turn up. This rug has been in use for two years and has made a couple of trips home and back again, so maybe this is normal for the wear and tear my daughter and her roommates have put on it! Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions.
