First opening the box, it looked to be a major undertaking. However it was a simple job. Just a few notes : some of the pieces are heavy, especially the umbrella holder and might need a second person. The raising and lowering handle was a bit tedious to line up the hole. In my opinion, these racks were just a little lightweight in comparison to wire racks I have bought and used in the past. I also think they should be just a little taller. When hanging clothes on the hanging bars (one above the other), another inch or two would have provided some separation between the bottom of the clothes on the top and bottom levels.
