So glad I bought these handles. They are the perfect warm touch my kitchen needed. They have held up for over 8 months, no scratches and look brand new still. I will note that I had to buy my own screws for the drawers because the two options that came with them did not work. The 4 posts are not solid wood, they feel hollow and if you look close you can see the seams in the wood where they put it together. But I still love it. It shipped in 4 boxes, and you'll definitely need 2 people to move the boxes around. The hooks are nice, I have 2 battery operated pendant lights hanging from them and it looks great! This cutting board is made of Richlite, a product that looks, acts, and ages like wood but it keeps germs away. This wood-colored product can handle up to 350 degrees of heat and lasts 3 times longer on average than wood or plastic cutting boards. Richlite is commonly found in commercial kitchens and has been used for cutting boards and other food preparation surfaces since the 1960s. Richlite is an extremely popular choice in the commercial food industry due to the surface's sanitary properties and extremely low maintenance requirements. It is made from resin-treated paper, which is then pressed and baked to create a solid and durable sheet. The cutting board company Richlite material is made with a blend of post-consumer waste recycled paper or FSC certified components. Richlite is an ideal material for cutting boards because of its incredible durability.

So far I have been using these boards and other form the manufacture. The smaller boards I ordered from the company directly had an off gas these did not. So I am guessing they have fully cured. I bought these to try and stay away form plastics. It is always a question if the resin has any plastic in it which is hard to understand. That all said the boards are nice.
