The lids are the perfect final touch. I wanted to limit trash odors both inside and outside of cabinet. They just slide on the top of the trash cans easily and help keep your trash bag in place. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. The Sharp RK-94S30F 30-inch flush mount built-in trim kit is compatible with the Sharp SMC1585BS microwave oven. It will provide ventilation as required and delivers a clean look that integrates the microwave into the wall or cabinet.

This is our 3rd SHARP combo convection-microwave stainless steel counter oven! We use it nearly every day! Hence, it's natural that after about 4 months years we need to replace it. It's ok because it is absolutely 100% reliable until it goes to SHARP heaven.
