Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. Tile is beautiful and installation was great with a glass cutting kit. Great quality and great price. Very nice looking glass tiles used for a kitchen backsplash. They’re beveled so you don’t need to grout afterwards. The adhesive is very strong- so strong, once you place them, they won’t budge unless you pry them off which will then cause them to chip. Order extra. A little tricky to cut without a tile saw.
