Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! This hood is quiet, has four exhaust settings, a timer and two adjustable led lights. We needed it to vent out the wall and it was an easy job for our contractor. We have never purchased this brand but are impressed with the exhaust options and styles they offered.
