I returned these, but they are nice looking in person (I ended up using metal brackets instead to support my countertop bar). I chose the walnut color ones, and they did not appear to be walnut colored. Also, VERY important to know, in very fine print, it says that they are not returnable - even though on the same page on the website, in large capital letters, that all orders from Wayfair can be returned within 30 days. Well, decided to make my own mantel from milled pine from a friend with his own mill. The brackets were easy to install and look just like the wood I was using, unfinished pine.
