I have a unique setup where I have 2 queen beds together because I sleep with my 2 great danes and 1 great pyrenees. I needed to be sure this bed was supportive, with some bounce , because straight memory foam doens't hold up to the amount of weight that could be on the bed. THIS IS AMAZING. First the coils are stiff with tons of support. Exactly what I need! It's an honest 12" high which is important since I have a 12" mattress next to it and it was off in measurements, it would be uncomfortable. But most importantly its extremely comfortable. The hybrid construction also gives it a more substantial feel than I expected for the price. I also like that it sleeps fairly temperature-neutral. The cooling gel layer seems to help, especially compared to traditional memory foam mattresses that can trap heat. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it was a little firmer than I initially expected, so it may take some time to break in depending on your preference. It’s still comfortable, just not as plush as some buyers might assume.
