The next day I installed them. The larger piece came apart so the glue did not work so I nailed them to the wall. Ceiling rings are often used in conjunction with ceiling medallions in highlighting focal points like chandeliers and ceiling fans. However, ceiling rings can also be used on the wall to accent mirrors, photos, and photo frames.

I had installed a medallion when we replaced our chandelier. I was disappointed because the medallion was too small for the fixture. This ceiling ring was perfect to give the illusion of a larger medallion without having to start over! It would also be useful when the medallion you love is too small for what you need- more intentional than was my case. Calculating the size I needed was the tricky part! With the medallion, this ring, and the ceiling between the two painted the same color, it appears that I have a much larger medallion than I actually have.
