This rug filled my den space perfectly. I got the 7’10” x 10’ to replace a much smaller 5’x 7” which didn’t fill the space. And it actually made the room look smaller. The dark gray color is neutral enough to work well with most decors. Next to my brown loveseat and recliners it looks more like a dark brown color than a gray. But a few bright accent pillows will quickly change that. The white triangle pattern is a broken-line of interwoven white and gray fabric. As such it creates a less fussy mood in my small den. An unbroken-line pattern in such a confined space would be too many in your face triangles. It would feel sort of trippy, which has its own advantages. Just not in my den. Being a pet owner with two cats and a white and black dog, I am unbelievably thrilled that the white pattern against the dark gray background doesn’t show their hair. The manufacturer guarantees that the rug contains no harmful substances. That is a definite plus for anyone with pets or small children. And if those pluses alone hadn’t sold me on this rug, the incredibly soft and silky feel of the relatively short, yet thick nap would. It feels fantastic on bare feet, hands, legs, etc.. Jeri.
