The warm white glow is soft but still bright enough for stairs, hallways, closets, or a bedroom at night. I use these on a staircase that has a turn and sometimes gets dark at the turned stairway. They have remained charged for a month and always come on and are triggered from a good distance. I like that they are rechargeable and magnetic, so they can be removed easily when they need charging. The motion sensor works well, and the light looks smooth without harsh dots. I have just had one trial run with this machine to make sure it was running smoothly and I was very impressed. Very lightweight and flexible and easy to handle. Has strong suction power. Very easy to assemble and very quick. It worked out the box for 30 plus minutes then charged for 4.5 hrs minimum.
