As a mom of boys, I’ve purchased and assembled several bunk beds over the years to know that these are my favorites to date. I was able to put the bunks together in an hour by myself without any issues. The bunk is sturdy, and I have no concerns about stability or the bed slats coming out, as they snap into place. The attached ladder doesn't take up floor space or block access to the bottom bunk. The height of the bottom bunk not only prevents anyone from bumping their head but also gives my boys a lounge space to read or watch TV. My only complaints are that I wish the upper side rails were higher since current mattresses are not thin, so our mattress sits flush with the rail. The second is that I wish the clearance underneath was just an inch or two taller, as it wouldn’t impact the bottom bunk and would allow larger totes to be stored under the bed. The building door entrance wasn't locked, it is always unlocked so packages can be delivered inside. More over, while delivering packages outside a building, they can be stolen. To finish with, my apartment is upstairs and I wasn't home when it was delivered so, when I found out the details of the delivery, I have to call a friend to ask for help in order to put my package inside the building and upstairs in front of my door.
