We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plumber just left. He said it looked like a quality faucet and I agree. Will update this review after a month or so but right now all is well. I did have the handle installed on the left hand side which was no problem. That made it necessary to reverse the hot and cold lines below. (If you're right handed the handle should be on the left.) The escutcheon plate was exactly right in finish, weight and dimensions. The two buttons are a great feature on the sprayer because on another sprayer faucet at another location I have to turn the water off to go back to a stream.
