With the exception of one assembly step, this was a straightforward one strong person unpacking and assembly. At one point they want you to have the base stood up on its side so that the pillars can be slid through the holes in the bale. I made a support of the shipping boxes to support the then horizontal heavy pillars parallel to the floor while I attached them. ALSO: do the later steps that require you to work at the bottom while the stand is already on its side. The motor runs smoothly but I haven't attached tho 100" screen to it yet—I don't expect that will be a problem. Originally, I was very hesitant on purchasing this desk because the tabletop is in 4 pieces. I was worried about whether the tops of each piece would be level to each other or if the gaps between the pieces would be uneven or wide.
