Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement. This is a 3/8" x 16PT spline broach quarter turn hot-side replacement stem cartridge. Compatible with Kingston Brass LS845xJX and LS855xDL faucets.

This was a great replacement for my old spout. I do wish the spout covered more area on the wall. It will be ok but it barely covers the space in the tile. The old spout's plating had separated and was a a weird grey color. It is also hard to find the shiny brass finish. My other option was almost $200.
