Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. I misread the description when I ordered this Westinghouse fan remotes and wall controller. It’s a fantastic concept that I wish I could integrate into my home. The wiring is wonderfully simple, but pay attention to the models it works with that are listed on the box. Unfortunately, it is for a setting in which the fans are on the same pole. That being said, I sent photos and info to an industrial electrician and he was impressed with its compact size and quality. If I find a way to use it, I’ll update.
