At the rain collection area, a screened opening minimizes insect entry into the barrel while filtering debris from incoming water. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This product was sold with misleading sizing. If you want to know the brand and sizing you will be receiving, search up Seyante waffle robes and find them on the official brand site. I ordered a XXL thinking it would be on par with other brands sizing, it is not. Almost across the board it is consistently smaller. In the areas that matter a great deal to larger individuals, i.e. chest width, this robe was 5 inches smaller than comparable brands.
