I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great. I was very disappointed in the quality of materials and the engineering. The plywood side panels were horribly warped, there are no pilot holes or even indicator marks where most of the screws go, it's all assembled with corner braces and screws (no engineering), and the instructions were incomplete. If you've ever assembled a Sauders unit, you know well those are engineered. This is not that. However, the unit has a nice finish and the soft close doors are good.
