Be sure to vacuum extensively after you lay it down because there’s ALOT of shedding, but I don’t care because it’s so pretty. I was able to vacuum the shedding until it finally vacuumed clean, but I emptied the canister 5 times ( it’s a 9’6” x 13’ rug so that’s not too bad). The fabric has a velour-style finish that feels reasonably soft, but this is not a luxury towel. It’s lighter and less plush than higher-end sets. That said, for the price it’s perfectly serviceable. Photo is after a wash with fabric softener. Comes nicely packaged and good price for a set for a guest bathroom or single person shower situation. After washing with a little fabric softener, they soften up and are comfortable enough for regular use. They absorb well and hold their shape. I like the look in a black and white guest bath room.
