I was impressed when I opened the box. You could smell the leather. The size is perfect for my space. Why it lost a star is because of the scratch on the leather. Looks great! It was easy for one person to assemble and the little ratchet tool that came with it was very handy. There is a zippered compartment on the back of the headboard that I presume is for storing the slats when disassembled. I keep the allen wrench in there to tighten the screws every few months..
