The seat and back are comfortable, not too stiff or squishy. It is roomy but not a big bulky recliner. The brass nail heads look nice. The controls work well and are very easy to use. The recliner control is well lit. The massage control is simple. The heat is just right and the massage...well, it goes off as programmed, I love it! It feels great and one unusual benefit is it keeps my dogs off when I need some Me time. The side pockets are handy for the controllers and great for my two TV remotes which I was constantly misplacing. Recliner came quickly. All other recliners would take weeks to months to receive. So I chose this one, got here in days. Suggest having someone there to accept packages, it came in 3 boxes - not on the same day. One box which was "extremely" heavy & I could not lift by myself. Suggest setting up delivery time with FedEx. It took my friend only 10min to assemble. It is a perfect size for me. I am a 5'6" female with "extremely" long legs. The foot rest is extended & fits my legs that are the same length as my 6'2" brother's. Where my feet rest on the "extension" portion and it does not cut me off at the ankles (with my feet dangling & unsupported as most other recliners do). Looks nice & is sturdy, the massage feature is amazing, the heat feature is warm not hot like you may envision. The motorized features are extremely helpful and offer a plethora of positions. I slept in it last night! I have a back injury currently and it is helping already. The cell charger is a great added bonus. I would not say it a "Tall Man" Recliner. This chair sold by Wayfair received 4 out of 5 stars because of a few minor things. First, this chair is sold by other online retailers and clearly indicates that it has voice recognition and control.. The problem is that there is no setting on the remote to turn this feature off, so what will occur like other home A.I. devices it will hear what it believes to be the magic phrase and activate the chair when you were merely watching television. The reviews from the other site indicate that you can unplug the chair to resolve this issue while not in use. However, the power switch is a the back and very bottom of the chair which means that would be a royal pain. I have come up with my own solution that I am sharing because the features that come with the chair and price point are good value. There appear to be two microphones on the remote control one on the front and other on the back.. I used a piece of the soft material that normally comes with electronics to protect the screen and blue painter’s tape that doesn’t have a strong adhesive residue and cut a small circular piece for each microphone and taped over them with a small piece of the blue painter’s tape, thus muting the microphones’ ability to pick up random trigger words from the television and without damaging the remote control. The other solution is to get a smart plug or power strip that is compatible with Alexia or Apple HomeKit and plug your chair into the smart plug or power strip which would allow you to turn the chair on or off without having to move it to access the rear power button. I liked the fact that the chair came well packaged and did not need any major assembly just have to connect the white air hoses from chair to seat cushion for air system to operate correctly. Lastly, this chair will not replace your typical recliner as it relates to comfort and watching TV unless, as I did, you add a tall removable back/lumbar padded seat cushion and pillow because it is designed to be therapeutic and without the padding you will feel the massaging nodules along your back and bottom and soles of your feet if you are not actively receiving a massage. I hope this review was helpful so that anyone who has purchased or looking to purchase can be informed and have options.. BTW, Wayfair does have fast and timely shipping and delivery.. Vincent. Delivery was excellent. The design color and function of the sofa was what I expected. It looks great in my house. Sadly the leather was damaged. Wayfair resolved the issues immediately. After a few days of working with it my husband and I both enjoy it. For me the biggest miss is the lack of backlight on the control tablet. There is no USB charging port mentioned in the operation manual and we cannot find one on the chair. The sweet dreams setting actually rocks back and forth. Very enjoyable. The heat is soothing. The booklet states clearance is 3.2 inches. We found it was more like 5 or 6. This chair provides many options for adjustments that can be made for personalization.
