Headboard/footboard are solid wood, the rest of the pieces are particle board veneer, including the bed rails!! I had selected solid wood as a filter, and I guess I should have read the description better and more thoughly. I cant knock wayfair for this, but READ what is ACTUALLY wood and what is not. So be very sure when you guy a rug! This one is the lighter one!! Also the material is a bit itchy so if you walk on it barefoot not a vibe.
