No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. This product was sold with misleading sizing. If you want to know the brand and sizing you will be receiving, search up Seyante waffle robes and find them on the official brand site. I ordered a XXL thinking it would be on par with other brands sizing, it is not. Almost across the board it is consistently smaller. In the areas that matter a great deal to larger individuals, i.e. chest width, this robe was 5 inches smaller than comparable brands. Oh boy. This fan is very nice and produces a lot of wind even on the lower settings. I'm impressed. It will cover a large room easily, or on the very low settings, a smaller room. The design looks modern, and it doesn't take up much space tucked in the corner. The remote is a nice touch as well. I really like this fan, and Wayfair had the best price as usual.
