I have bought many pieces from 17 Stories. Contrary to other reviews it’s quite easy to put together. Make sure that piece 4 is the same direction as 5 otherwise the holes for shelves will not line up. I made that mistake but had it fixed within a minute. It’s pretty sturdy once it’s together. This is the best shoe rack!!! It’s so easy to put together - it comes in about 5 pieces and doesn’t take more than 5-10 min to assemble. It’s packed really well. The solid wood legs have a mid-century feel. This can be used with the thick mat inserts, or without them as a plastic shoe tray.
