That said, the appearance makes up for a lot. the pattern and color are beautiful, and it gives the room the exact look I was hoping for. These are heavy and well made but unfortunately we can't use them with our sliding door. They stick out too far from the wall. But I purchased them because I didn't want to screw the door glide into my new hardwood floor and these go into the baseboard.
