I purchased this desk for a basic gamingwork setup and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Assembly was pretty straightforward and didn’t take long, even doing it solo. The instructions were clear and all the parts were included. The size is great for smaller spaces but still has enough surface area for a monitor, keyboard, and accessories without feeling cramped. I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. This review is for the mahogany 19.7" x 28" x 16.3" version of the product. The size of the platform is perfect for my 1 extra wide monitor. The standing height is sufficient for me (I am 5' 7" tall). The height is also just barely sufficient for my husband (who is 6' 3" tall), it would probably be a bit short for anyone who is taller than that (depending on the height of their desk off the ground to begin with).
