This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact dryer has been such a nice addition for me. Just like the matching washer, I bought it for an upstairs laundry closet area where a normal size stacked washer and dryer just would not fit in my home. We are running the water lines next week and I honestly cant wait to get everything installed upstairs, but for now I’ve been trying it out in the basement and have been really impressed with it so far. One thing I had to learn at first is that heat pump dryers work differently than a traditional dryer. I was expecting clothes to come out feeling really hot, so at first I thought something was wrong, but once I read about how they work it made a lot more sense. It’s more energy efficient and much gentler on your clothes, which I really appreciate. The 40 minute quick cycle has been great for smaller loads, and I also love that you can set it to keep tumbling to help prevent wrinkles if you don’t unload it right away. The drum light is also a great feature and makes it much easier to see everything inside. Another thing I really like is the lint filter design. It has a nice double filter setup with very fine mesh that does a great job catching lint. I also love that this is ventless, because that opens up so many more options for where you can put it. It’s wonderful for spaces where you normally couldn’t install a dryer, and I also like that you can optionally hook it up to drain automatically instead of having to empty the water container. Another nice bonus is that it’s WiFi connected. I wouldn’t say that’s something I absolutely need, but it is really nice to have.
