Replaced a huge media couch with this and it's the perfect size for a mid century house. Firm cushions that don't feel like they will sag and it's a low profile so it will fit under my living room window perfectly. The fabric is soft and textured at the same time but not scratchy in any way. It's cream with a black woven herringbone type pattern. It looks gray from a distance. Feels very durable. Just moved and we were looking for a comfy cloud soft white sofa. This couch was perfect for the living room! I will say that we do need to add more pillows on the couch to make the back or comfortable however.
