I took a while to write this because it took us six months to find a contractor to put it together! Everyone is busy during peak contractor season. The finished product is amazing. It's a great deal and an amazing shed with lots of storage. Very stylish. I think our contractor had to buy paint, roof shingles and a couple of extra pieces of plywood. I will give you the breakdown, it took a licensed builder a full week to put it together but it's done right. Just to let you know if you are a DIY it will probably take three times that. WORTH IT. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Beautiful, thick flooring with great waterproof backing. I have the flooring butted up to our original wood flooring and its pretty close to "natural." Item shipped fast, was packaged almost too well but it still came with chips in the corners of some of the pieces. I was surprised with how well it was packaged and wrapped that it had chips and dings in it. **Update: I received a new package that came with no chips or dings! The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I didn’t run into any issues during assembly, and all the required parts were included in the boxes—nothing was missing. Also the boxes are delivered with box 3 on top which is good to access the installation instructions but the floor is in box 1 where we started. Screws and parts were in packages that didn’t match the instructions. Had to play hunt and seek for everything. The truss information in the instructions were wrong as only two trusses had the notch for the door but no reference for the other 2 matching trusses we had so ended up instead of removing the whole roof and taking an additional 4 hours we had to adjust the trusses for the door manually to accommodate the door swing - why all trusses aren’t the same is beyond me or the instructions were better. After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor..
