I ordered the carbon tiles. They turned out great in my entryway, kitchen and closet. Installing them went pretty smoothly. With the four sides connecting it was a little difficult in smaller spaces to latch the sides but with persistence it worked out and they feel like they will stay together better than the connect and pound style. I researched many different floor brands (big box stores and online) and got tons of samples. My local flooring store gave me some really big samples to take home for a few days to view in various lighting. I was stuck between the Mannington nougat and praline. I went with the nougat color and it is balanced neutral that looks good with warm or cool colors and is perfect! I also purchased Mannington cleaning solution which works very well on them.. Marie. My first time booking something like this up and it took about one hour. Used youtube to help put it together. It’s very heavy so I recommend using a bucket to hold it up. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. Beautiful color pretty easy to install once we got the hang of it, but I’m already finding these aren’t as durable as I had anticipated. They’ve been installed a little over a month and I’m already seeing tiny scratches, which makes me nervous what they will look like a year from now… I thought these would be able to withstand our daily lifestyle Update I’m so upset that I went ahead and ordered more flooring after initially just doing my bedroom… I wanted to go throughout the house. However, these are soooo prone to scratches dings!!!! I have 3 kids, and our daily life is no match for these floors- a few months in and they are looking like they are 10 years old.
