This sofa was easy to put together for my husband, although he needed me to hold the edge of one section of the sofa to help with sliding the latch in between the furniture pieces. It took a few days for the pillows to fluff out (expand) to look puffy - so do not be discouraged when you see that it looks flat initially. The sofa itself is perfect for a small apartment, and wicked comfy, but firm enough where you don't sink into it. I like firmer pillows and this couch is the perfect level of support, but also comfortable enough to nap on. This was worth waiting for. Beautiful lines, and nice and firm. It's hard to find a new sofa that won't look anachronistic in a vintage 1930 home, but this does the trick. A pleasant surprise is that it sits a little higher than I expected. The fabric is soft to touch, and it comes with two matching square pillows. I'm delighted with this sofa! The loveseat is attractive, nicely built, and sturdy. It is a bit high off the ground as my feet don’t touch the floor when I am sitting upright (I am 5’4”). When I recline, I don’t tend to settle into the middle of the “bucket” (the bucket was to be a perk for me to keep me centered and secure). Feels more like a perch I am balancing on. The cushions are firm, which I don’t mind but I am hoping that will settle down with time. Although I was attracted to the hidden cupholders, once opened they are a bit of a reach. And, my little dog occasionally activates the cupholder open button as he steps on it while climbing up to his bed on the other side. We have covered over the phone charging plate in the middle so the dog won’t scratch it, and it doesn’t seem to charge all that well anyway. Makes a good table, though. It took a bit to get used to the control buttons on the side (what does what), but I really do like the recline and the headrest mechanisms. I like the charging ports on the side. The armrests are nice, but a remote or phone will slide off easily. Didn’t consider that prior to purchase.
