Meta Dark Gray

We chose this tile for a basement hallway project. It was significantly less expensive than several other styles we were considering, and was also a small (2x2) mosaic style which was necessary to conform to the cracks and bumps of our 100 year old basement floor. I will note that the color is far more an "olive brown" than anything resembling green. Also, the tiles must have been stored in a hot warehouse, or perhaps a hot delivery van because the sheets were firmly stuck together and were a pain in the neck to separate without damaging the tile. The tile does look very nice, with a fair amount of variation and seems to be of good quality. It will look best with a medium to fairly dark warm grout. Overall, we are happy with this product.. Bought sight unseen, just via computer image and crossed fingers. These are gorgeous in person. I didnt want a white floor (the dirt!) or a dark floor (the dirt!). The pattern here will go with any color grout (I suggest darker than the tiles though!) and the overall effect will, hopefully, be like...sand, the beach, the coast.
