Amazing range hood! Not easy to install, we actually still were sweating trying to get it secured in with four people involved. The instructions say at least two people, but I would get more people helping! It understandably took us a long time, but it is very sturdy. We have just short of 8 ft ceilings, and wanted it about 30” over the stovetop, so we also had to cut the two covers for the top portion. Get a metal cutting wheel and grinder, it was definitely not a job for someone who doesn’t have experience doing that, but you could cut it a different way if needed. Not necessary to alter like that though for taller ceilings, or lower placements. Installation aside, this range hood works beautifully and is strong even on its lowest setting. The lights are not blinding, and it’s nice having just buttons for control on both sides. Absolutely would recommend, for anyone who has the right help to install! We love this high-performing hood. We got this to go with our new 48 inch for no double oven range. We needed the high power and it works beautifully! Just a couple of notes… The lights are not dimmable. That would’ve been a nice feature. Be sure to mount the hood low enough so that the bright lights do not distract you while cooking. But we did want four lights… Many Chimney hoods like this only offer three and did not provide the lighting that we were looking for. Several other reviews mention how loud the fan is. This is true. Even on low it’s quite loud. However, other models that we looked at that were more quiet… Were 3 to 4 times the cost. We do a lot of cooking and Are just fine turning up the music or speaking a little more loudly to one another while cooking! Ha ha! I definitely recommend just be aware of the bright lights, lack of ability to dim the lights, and the volume of the fans when running!. Drew. Mon Jan 05 2026

This range hood completely changed the look and functionality of our kitchen. The stainless steel finish looks sleek and professional, and the suction power is impressive. This purchase was a bad choice. For one, it DOES NOT come with the chimney piece! Wayfair referred me to the manufacture to purchase that piece for an additional $250 but it wasn't available to ship until January 2019! So, I had to have one custom made so my contractor could finish my kitchen remodel. Also, the blue lights on the front are SO bright, they are annoying. Wish I could turn them off.
