This Chinese mahjong set is comfortable-sized. Tiles are in an authentic Chinese setting, thus requiring players to be able to learn and recognize the "WAN" Character suite's 1-9 numbers in Chinese. It contains no Joker tiles or Arabic numeral markings. This Mahjong Majiang set is for authentic Chinese Majiang players. Beautiful pieces with green bamboo grain stripes include 36 circles (Pie, or "BING"), 36 bamboo (Strips, or "TIAO"), 36 characters (10 Thousand, or "WAN"), 12 dragons (Middle, Prosper, White), 16 winds (North, East, South, West), 8 flowers and seasons, 2 blank spares; Tiles measure 1.18" width X 1.57" height x 0.79" deep.
