I recently purchased a new dryer and have been disappointed with both the design and overall performance. The biggest issue is the venting system. The vent connection feels poorly engineered, making installation more difficult than it should be, and airflow does not seem efficient. Even with a properly cleaned vent line, the dryer struggles to circulate heat effectively. Drying times are much longer than expected. A normal-sized load often requires two or even three cycles before clothes are fully dry, which wastes both time and energy. Heavier items like towels and bedding come out damp around the edges and need additional drying. The build quality also feels underwhelming for a new appliance. Some components seem lightweight and not very durable, especially around the lint filter and vent connection areas. For the price, I expected a much more reliable and better-designed product. Overall, this dryer has been frustrating to use due to the poor venting design, inconsistent drying performance, and excessive drying times. The product is very high quality. However, the way it is listed without a depth measurement is stupid! The height measurement is way less important than having length and width ( or depth) so you know if it will fit the shower pan! I ordered the 46.38 x 72 in hope that it would fit my 48 x 36 shower pan & was disappointed to find out that there is a 2” narrower version which of course is the one that I received. The glass panels are packaged very well and weigh 208lbs. so it is not easy to move or unpack & now I have to wait to see if they can just ship the one glass panel that I need or try to repackage the whole thing to return it delaying the project further. Update, Dreamline’s customer service is incredible! They shipped the correct size glass panel at no extra charge including the shipping cost!. Anonymous. Sat Feb 07 2026
