We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this machine. From the moment I opened the packaging, it was clear that the manufacturer paid attention to detail. The materials feel strong, durable, and built to last. Assembly was much easier than expected because the instructions were clear, well organized, and easy to follow. Each step was explained in a way that made the build process simple, even for someone without much experience assembling fitness equipment. One of the best parts of the assembly process was how accurately everything lined up. Every screw hole was drilled correctly, and all of the hardware fit exactly where it was supposed to. I never had to force any bolts into place or modify anything to make it fit. That level of precision shows excellent quality control and made the setup process smooth and frustration-free. After assembly, the machine feels incredibly solid and stable. The frame is sturdy, the padding is comfortable, and the overall design feels professional. During use, everything operates smoothly and exactly as intended. There is no excessive movement, rattling, or wobbling, which gives confidence during workouts.
