I purchased this item thinking it would be a simple plug-in, “1-2-3” setup. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When I opened the box, I was met with a mess of exposed wires and unclear instructions that made me feel like I needed to be an electrician just to install it. The instructions do not clearly explain which wires go where, and for someone with no electrical experience, this feels unsafe and overwhelming. I honestly did not feel comfortable attempting the setup because I was worried that if I connected something wrong, it could cause serious damage or even a fire. No customer should feel that kind of stress over a product that’s supposed to be simple to install. On top of that, the top light arrived bent, which was disappointing right out of the box. This product needs much better instructions or, even better, should come pre-wired so customers can simply mount it and plug it in as expected. As it stands, this is not beginner-friendly, not convenient, and does not feel safe to install. I would not recommend this item unless the manufacturer improves the design and installation process.. The timer option is sn extra feature I didn’t know I needed. I don’t need this machine to run 24/7 in the summer so it’s nice to set it for shut off when I want too. All controlled from my phone, which is a plus. I can choose the level of humidity, which is helpful in the summer when I don’t need as Much.
