It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! I just got my kitchen redone. Let me say that I am not a fan of stainless steel or single bowl sinks. I do not use a dishwasher. My kitchen is small and I didn’t use a dishwasher when I had one. I had first ordered a composite granite sink from a local company that was shipped here. After two sinks came chipped, I had had enough. So I ordered this sink. It’s heavy, it’s old school and deep and I like it so far. So, we’ll see how it works. Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. This is a great sink that fit the specifications of my space but I did not realize that a rectangular sink will not work in a rounded sink space even with the correct specs. The fiberglass smooth entry doors are an intricate part of home design. All of our fiberglass smooth front doors are virtually maintenance-free and will not warp, rot, dent or split. They have fiberglass reinforced skin with insulated polyurethane cores, that will meet or exceed current energy code standards. Each door comes with a limited lifetime warranty on both the door component and the prehung unit, as well as a 10-year glass lite warranty, and a 10-year warranty on the painted finish of the pre-hung door component.

Product arrived pretty quickly and in perfect condition. Was exactly what I was expecting and will enhance my kitchen. Currently waiting for quartz countertop to be installed, so I cannot provide info about installation (needs to be professionally installed). The color is more of a gun metal, not black. I was in need of replacing my current sink due to a crack that had begun. This new Deervalley stainless steel sink is a perfect match to replace my broken sink. This new sink comes with a measuring guide, with several options to cut countertops for new installations.
