It comes rolled up so you do need to flatten it out a bit when you get it. It has a nice off feel to it, but there are a lot of little hairs on it when you first unroll it. Probably a quick vacuum would solve that. It is a little small so you would probably use it near a door. The pattern and the colors look pretty nice.
