The shed is very good. It definitely takes two people three would be better to put it together to hold the panels up in place and to get everything where it’s supposed to be and just a word of warning. Make sure that you anchor it to a wall or it will blow over. I had this shed tucked into a corner right up against house. I cannot believe that when got in there, but it blew it over and it was full of yard things it was a mess. I had to pull everything out of the bottom, which is open and anchor it into the wall, so don’t make the mistake like I did and think that just because it’s full, the weight is gonna keep it up in a high wind because it will not. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: you must attach this to your house. i did not attach it to my house even though i had it tucked in a small space right up against the house with the chimney to one side. i thought it was secure because the whole thing is also in an enclosed fenced yard and didn't think the wind would get behind it at all. . that being said it blew over one evening when it was TOTALLY FILLED! What a mess. i had to pull everything out of the bottom and get 2x people to stand it up. the back popped open and one of the panels got damaged. all and all it was ok but we now attached it to the house. so don't make my mistake and think all the weight you have in it will keep it from blowing over..it will not. even in an enclosed area.. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. The delivery process was excellent. However, the shed has been nothing but a problem with leaks. There have been leaks at various spots of the roof. Installation guy has been back 3 times to seal around the roof screws. There is water standing in the tracks on the inside of shed near the roof. It seems to be a really poor design. Instructions were followed completely. This morning I checked again after we had some rain last night. The floor is full of water again. Very disappointed with the design of this shed. It's a nice looking shed, I have a smaller one of these too, you have to be careful with the panels in the sun, they will warp some which can make alignments difficult and to keep walls straight and not warped, always keep the walls completely flat and realize there are hundreds of screws into plastic that keep this shed together.. This shed seems flimsy until it's assembled but is sturdy. However, the finish may scratch easily. I had panels that had significant scratches in them and some of the screw holes were difficult to line up. There were a few places that were impossible to get the nut on the bolt. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. This cedar shed is perfect as an additional bunk house/office for our vacation/remote work location. My contractor, who assembled it had a few issues as the directions are pretty basic. So pay attention to part numbers as the illustrated plans indicate what goes where. It arrives on two pallets with wall panels that already have the siding attached and roof panels already shingled. He bought pressure treated 2x4s and better plywood for the base/floor since the cabin didn't come with all the pieces of flooring needed (super annoying) and making 6 or 8 joist boxes is kinda silly but due to fitting everything on pallets, that's necessary from a manufacturing standpoint. So we improvised. In these photos, we had painted the floor already, preparing for laying the final flooring. We will be insulating and adding a nice whitewashed paneling for the interior walls. We may run an extension cord out there or actually run power properly. Not sure yet. My contractor billed me 30 hours for assembly and he worked alone. Great shed! The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together.
