I couldn’t be happier with this pergola and shutter wall system. The quality of the aluminum is excellent, everything feels solid, and once it’s anchored to concrete, the structure is extremely sturdy. I installed the pergola and fixed shutter wall myself, and while it takes time and patience, the instructions were clear and all of the parts fit together well. The shutter wall adds a lot of privacy without making the space feel closed in, and it gives the pergola a clean, modern look. The charcoal finish looks even better in person than it does in the pictures, and the louvers operate smoothly. Great value for the price. I installed it on my Sorara Mirador Pergola, and it worked well. I’d need is raising the underside height from 89” to 94”. Some of the louvers arrived with minor factory paint scratches. I reached out to Mirador for touch-up paint, but they don’t offer any. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings.
