It’s comfortable without feeling overly soft, and I haven’t been waking up sore or stiff. One thing I did notice is it has a little more bounce than I expected from a hybrid mattress, so if you prefer an extra still memory foam feel, that’s something to keep in mind. Love this mattress! It is heavy! But there are 2 handles each, on each side of the mattress to make for an easy lift with another person! It is true to size in thickness! We had to get deep pocket sheets because our regular ones kept coming off. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because it is a little softer than I like. I wish it was a bit more firm.
