This is such an upgrade from our 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner. We purchased this Danby because our old a/c unit started blowing hot air. After checking to see if it needed draining, filter cleaning, checking the hose for blockages, etc., we realized it was likely not worth trying to get it repaired. We've bought Danby products before but never a/c units. So far, it's doing a great job. We have it set up in our living room, which counts as two rooms if we were to carpet it and so far, it's keeping the space nice and cool. We live in an apartment, so this works really well. The true test will be how it lasts during some of the summer's longer heat waves, but as we're experiencing mini heat waves right now (that last maybe 2-3 days), I'm happy to say that it's doing a decent job. Oh, and it's super quiet. Our other a/c unit that we have in the bedroom runs a lot louder than this one and is maybe only a year old. However, I recently bought a Portable Hemming Machine and am so satisfied with it that I finally decided to write one. It’s the same brand I used to own. Although this is a slightly lower-tier model than my previous one, the price was about the same. I bought my old one in-store, but it’s really hard to find this specific brand and model from other suppliers right now. Plus, from my experience, other places usually have slow shipping. Since I needed it urgently, I went with Wayfair again based on my previous good experiences, hoping for fast delivery. I placed the order on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived right around noon today (Monday). The delivery was smooth and remembering how well all my previous Wayfair orders were delivered, I really want to thank everyone involved, including the supplier. I set up the machine today and tested it out—it works perfectly and is just as easy and convenient to use as my old one. This also reminds me of a past order (mostly furniture back then) where I had to return an item because it wasn't quite what I expected. Wayfair's customer service was incredibly kind and handled both the return and refund smoothly. I’d like to express my belated gratitude for that as well! Of course, this time the purchase was absolutely perfect with zero issues, so I didn't even need to contact customer service. Above all, this item is hard to find elsewhere, and even if I had found it, I highly doubt I would have received it this quickly. Wayfair never disappoints. It was a truly satisfying purchase. The weather here has not been hot enough to use this on a regular basis, but I did use it on one particular hot day. It seems to be fairly quiet and blows out Great cold air sufficient to cool my bedroom down. The attachments for the hose and windows seem a little flimsy but all in all it works very well.. Rose.
