Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. Overall a good quality stove, has a major issue with center burner. The burner has been replaced a minimum of 5 times. The 6th burner is in the process of failure. I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. Excellent value for money. Very effective, powerful fan, reasonably quiet. Oil trapping works well and grills are easy to clean. Only negative is that the printed characters and brand name rub off easily and had to cover with protective plastic film to retain labels.. Ac. FL. Fri Jan 16 2026
