This is a really beautiful wool rug that is currently selling for almost three times as much under another brand. It is all that I hoped for. I know it is hard shopping for neutral colored rugs online, so I included a photo with a neutral undertone wheel in natural light for reference. The recessed parts of the rug have a slight green-beige cast, and the raised parts are a very light taupey cream variegated with a pink beige that looks like a light tint of a maroon brown in the darkest parts. I think it coordinates well with natural linen color and unbleached cotton as well as cool sandy tans or mocha and cocoa colored neutrals. It might look dirty next to yellowy creams or light tints of cool blue grays. I included a photo with a natural straw mat and a bamboo box to show how it would look next to light wood with a more yellow cast. Update I should have listened to recent reviews. This rug sheds and threads pull so easily I’ll be lucky if it lasts a year. Pretty color, super disappointing quality for the price. Original It’s new so I’ll update agin in 30 days but I’m super happy with this! The blue is not as teal colored as other reviews and photos indicated, but is a true navy imo. This rug is gorgeous! It’s incredibly soft underfoot, and I love that it’s a natural fiber blend since I try to avoid microplastics. One thing to note—the photos online make it look whiter than it is. In person, it’s a beautiful warm cream with a subtle texture that adds interest without being busy. I ordered the 8x10 for a 14x14 dining room, and the scale is perfect—it anchors the table nicely without overwhelming the space. I’ve included photos of it in both natural and evening light for reference. It’s plush enough that we don’t feel the need for a rug pad, which was a nice surprise.
